My mom is the reason I’m a chiropractor.

When I was 16 years old, I had a major car accident in my 1972 fully-restored Pontiac LeMans.  It was major trauma. I hit another big, huge conversion van.  I experienced so many symptoms after that accident: neck pain, back pain, and migraine headaches.

I did seek treatment, which did give me a solution, but I really want to say thank you to my mom.

It was my mom that was driving me around to all the doctors and the dentists, chasing the symptoms, and trying to figure out exactly what was going on with me. My mom never gave up on me, and that’s one person in my life, even today as I’m older, she just always comes and calls in and checks in on me.

But it was back then, when I was 16 years old  and my mom was driving me to my medical doctor, the dentist, and the eye doctors, when we were on the highway, that I saw something that interested me.

All of a sudden, I looked up, and I saw this huge billboard that said “Chiropractic: Back Pain.” I said, “Mom, I don’t know what those guys do or what they do, but let’s go there.”

I got to that office, and I was so glad that I made the decision to go there, because it changed my life.

Now, because I saw that chiropractor, it changed my life.  Now, i can help other people just like myself find relief and live a happy, healthy life.
